There was something called the Z-Bar that showed up in Transoniq
Hacker around 1992 then Electronic Musician. It was pressure
sensitive and had a peel-off adhesive backing. This is all a bit
vague but I'm pretty sure it's correct.

<i have a vague memory (well, loads of them actually) that someone once
<marketed a midi pitchbend strip that could be fixed to whatever
<controller keyboard you used. this would solve a problem for me right
<now - does anyone know of such a thing????

Checked CYcling74 and opcode, couldn't see how to run Max on a G4. I
downloaded the USB floppy enabler from PACE, but I still can't get the
challenge/response stuff. Any help?

Forrest Tobey uses Buchla Lightnings. The last I saw of him (at ICMC96, he was
going to use two to track conducting gestures in 3D. Not sure how far he's progressed with
