movie+ is a part of the 'Rokeby objects' folder, wich you can find at:

ftp://ftp.ircam.fr/pub/forumnet/max/FAT/utilities/Rokeby_ObjectsFAT.sea.bin

Subject: Opcode still alive? / Vision DSP 4.5.1 authorization

I just received my copy of Vision 4.5.1 from Opcode but I cannot
permanently authorize it.

My system is a B&W G3 350/system 8.6 with the Imation Superdisk. The only
software on it is Vision DSP, OMS and Galaxy.

I installed the latest version of the superdisk driver (2.0a) and the
floppy enabler from Pace that came with Vision, but every time I launch
Vision it asks me to put the key disk in or for a challenge response code.
Meanwhile, I have 27 days left before the software expires.

I tried calling Opcode several time but their phones are on an automated
voice service and no one has returned my calls.

Does anyone know what I can do to get this software permanatly authorized
or did I just by a $100.00 wine glass coster?

I've heard rumor's all over the place that Opcode is closing up shop. This
was posted at a local synth retailers website here in Phoenix on 10/3/99:

"We heard rumors today that Opcode may have closed their doors. Phone calls
to Opcode have met with voicemails only (no operator assistance). We do not
know the circumstances of their closure or if/when they will re-organize.
Another part of the rumor is that virtually all staff have been terminated.
When trying to reach our Opcode rep, his answering machine referred Opcode
questions to the company phone number." - Synthony Music

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan
