Two uears ago, Richard Dudas esplained me this solution :

Save the patch in text, edit the text and change the big number which
includes the size of the font at the end of the line.
resave it, open it (in max) and so on until it works.
Unfortunately, you can't change it as easyly as in the menu.

Example :
#P hidden message 140 190 35 196617 set \$1; (196617 normal font 9 points)
#P message 352 36 75 196700 0;(196700 maximum 92 points?)

Hi All,

I'm a real newbie at MAX. Are there any books worth looking at besides the
Manual?

Thanks

Subject: Re: MAX Digest - 14 Jul 1999 to 15 Jul 1999 (#1999-211)

Two questions:
I am interested in creating a simple patch that will sythesize Scriabin's
synesthetic experience (sorry about the tongue twister)by drawing colored
bars or circles on the screen when certain pitches are played. Is there a
way to expand the MAX color palatte to get maybe 256 colors or more?
I have recently ordered a blue and white G3 450mHz, 256 RAM, OS 8.6. I have
been doing some research into serial port PCI cards such as the Megawolf
Remus. I am not really interested in buying a 1-in 1-out Opcode USB MIDI
interface as I need more ports and I am quite pleased with my MOTU MIDI
Express XT. Has anyone tried running OMS and Max on one of these cards?
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks.
