Boncoir Jaque!

I don't know the exact needs of your project but seems to me that Dataton
and
Director can do the job without Max. The Dataton system is a true
interactive
program and maybe you have to experiment with it to see if it's necessary to
have Max.
Using those software (with or without Max) you have to run them whithin
different computers.
Dataton manufactures an XTRA that will allow TRAX to control Director and
vice
versa. I think this is your best bet.
Let me know if you have specific questions!

Yes. Director will need all the grunt you can provide if you are mixing a
lot of images in real time. Max really doesn't like giving up clock cycles
to anyone. I haven't used to Dataton stuff, although I know it is good.
You can send the seriial control strings from within MAX to all thos
devices if you want which centralises things a bit and provides greater
links with what your doing in MAX. You could simple capture the command
strings comming out of the Dataton module, and replicate it in MAX and send
the Dataton stuff back.

Cheers,

Garth
