Subject: S3200 midi controllers' numbers

This question just arrived on the Ircam Forum mailing list, so I thought
I'd forward it to the Max list in case anyone has any suggestions for him.
Please send a mail directly to his address, because I don't think he's a
member of the Max list (and please send a cc to the max list in case anyone
else is interested).

After nearly 10 years of teaching the use of it,
it is still like a big swamp to me.
Each time I use a different machine or system or soft,
Each time it reacts another way,
the only way to undestand it must be

from the programer's point of view

I suppose

PS : I hope one day on Macintoshs there will be a global audio manager,
soft matrix or watever that will be able to work whith or without
any applications, route the signals, etc. but if it was the aim of the SM
it was probablynamed after Sado Masochists

I want to make a object to recognize (and send to different places) a list
from a simple integer. So, I can send the list to a place and the integer
to another place. Any object or idea for that?

Thank you for help.
