Hello Maxers,

I tried several times to open sound files in sfplay~ (+ SoundManager)
using the sprintf object in order to specify a search path:

'sprintf open MyHardDisk:XFile:Soundfiles_Folder:%s'

Max crashes: error n=B0 1

Does this happen because the (large) sound files are located on another
hard disk than Max itself?

sfplay~ does *not* load the whole file from disk, correct?

Sometimes, I may open 2 or 3 successive files then... crash.

I tried to specify this search path in Max 'file prefs', with same

What should I do for sfplay~ to work in a reliable way?
