I am interested in using MAX to control various notational parameters
in real time algorithmic music generation. Parameters I would like to =
control are: voice leading, generation of harmonies (control over types =
of harmonies generated), generation of melodic lines (specifying/ =
delimiting musical intervals used melodically, etc.) I would like to be =
able to use either random or non-random processes--run through these =
parameters--to generate music algorithmically. Can MAX=20
do this?=20

What about the sound quality of the G3 PB sound out?
I have a 3400 which adds an incredible portion of noise to all your sounds.
My old 5300 in comparison was much better.

Any experiances already with MSP?

Hans
