MAX 0.26 (both for X-windows and NextStep) should not be ported in itself

I just spoke to MIT Press who were not only adamant about the book NOT
being published but refused to give me any information at all. I suspect I
just got lucky and ended up talking to someone who had just quit drinking
coffee or was having a bad day. Anyway they were rude and useless to me.
The good news is that it's very clear that this person had no idea what
they were talking about and can't be trusted so I'm assuming that the book
IS out and my order will arrive later today.
-Anyone like that women I spoke to has to be wrong.
