Subject: Full-screen JPEG QT?

Sorry if this is a FAQ... has anyone had any success in controlling
full-screen 640x480, 30fps JPEG QuickTime playback, using the Max
QuickTime movie object, from any of the following cards: MiroMotion 30
(or 20), Targa Bravado, Media 100 QX, or any similar card? I want to
know which one to buy. Thanks.

When is an MSP object's dsp method guaranteed to be called?

- Whenever Audio is turned on?
(For the rest of the questions, assume audio is running.)
- Whenever signal patch cords connected to the object are modified?
- Whenever signal patch cords anywhere in the patch are modified?
- Whenever the sampling rate changes (either from the DSP window or via a
";dsp ..." message)?
- Whenever the signal vector size changes?
- Whenever the IO vector size changes?

My guess is that the answer to all of the above questions (except maybe the
last two) is 'yes', but I thought I'd check.

Hello MAXers,

The latest version and demo versions of the MegaMAX Collection
are now available at Go to Download.

It includes minor bug fixes, and an addition to the =

<3D_Text_Button>.help file which shows examples of how to use
buttons with blank text fields to create nicely colored, better-
looking replacements for standard "bang" and "checkbox" objects.

If you already downloaded a previous demo version and just want
to see the .help file update, it is available separately.
