Subject: new QT playbar

Sorry if this has been covered already but I'm just getting around to
testing
the new QT playbar I downloaded about a month ago. When I open up a patch
where it has been saved it is not there or it will show up somewhere else on
the desktop.

However, this is a very cool thing that I would love the same for the movie
object. Unfortunately, messages like fullscreen, notitle, etc. just make my
machine crash so I have been using the movie object instead of imovie. I
wish
that for presentation these problems could be resolved. Otherwise, from a
performers point of view I would be afraid to use it in a public
performance.

Thanks all the input regarding my color and animation problems. It looks
like I'll be upgrading to 3.5.

Looking forward to going native...

I will put it to David Z.;
You mention using Res Edit to change Max's color palette, but then go on
to not advocate such an approach.

What should I gather from the mixed message? Could I screw things up?
I.e., could it affect my copy protection mechanism?

or, I'm guessing that you have a professional obligation to *not*
advocate us monkeying around under the hood. (Is this a tactful
question?)

Whatever the case thank you for your time. (Your pressence on the list
is greatly appreciated.)

The MegaMAX UI Objects all display graphics with thousands of colors.
PICTs can be displayed in the 3D_Pict_Button or Pict_Button objects, as
buttons or simply non-clickable pictures. Does not use the MAX Palette.
Provides complete choice of colors through the color-picker.
Compatible with both 3.0 and 3.5.

Subject: SoundFile Info

Comment connaitre la duree d'un fichier son dans MSP?
apparement, l'objet info~ ne la donne pas.
C'est regretable car il s'agit d'une information de premiere
importance pour moi.

How can I know the duration of a sound file with MSP?
Apparently, the info~ doesn't give it.
This is a very important information.

Just got one 2 days ago. It seems fine with MAX but I'll let you know
what I discover. It smokes, though!

Could you make an MSP patch (if you have MSP) which is simply an adc
object connected to a dac object and see what the cpu usage is for sound
throughput? thanks
