I'm working on a new version of cd that will work with IDE drives.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to retain the ability
to work with multiple drives or CD-ROM changers while working with
IDE drives yet, so the research continues.

yes, i would love it if there was a cd object that worked with my internal
cd-rom drive on my powerbook 3400/240. it appears as an input to msp as an
"expansion bay" device - so the apple system software must understand it at
some level...!

Subject: Graphic questions (custom color palettes?)

Why are my pict images that get shown in graphic windows colored all
wrong? The same image displayed with the fpict object has all the right
colors--so I've ruled out that I may be using the wrong color
palette...though I'm not so sure about this.

Is there any way to import a custom color palette into MAX?

Thanks very much for any input...
