I believe that someone mentioned some tools (or utilities?) a little
while back that could make PICS files...

Could someone point me somewhere?

Try GraphicConverter (shareware).
Director also lets you export animations as Pics files.

What with the new audio stuff happening in Max, has anybody tried to
work out a patch that will try and calculate the BPM of an incoming
audio stream? Is this possible?

I don't own a copy of the new version, so I can't try it myself.

Max Resource Guide: http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaveral/Lab/7055/

My sig contains the URL to my index which will lead you to "Sausage" a site
of *mostly* music links that need serious updating. I hope you find
something helpful there.

cd object seems to work only with SCSI devices. Does Someone know if it
exist a similar object working with IDE devices?
Other thing. I was unsubscribe of this list since january 10 to january
15. Does someone can send me the digests of this period?

Thanks.
