I work with Cubase VST(without using audio now) and MAX on a Powermac.
I am to install MAX 3,5 so is it better to work with OMS or not
and why???
Thank you

Thank you Steven for answering, but I have followed the instructions in
the manual carefully and still I don't see any pict-file in the graphics
window. In the beginning I got error-messages, saying "error, can't load
pict-objet. Loadind external object pict", but then I moved the
pict-object in the max-startup folder, and the error-message doesn't show
up.
I remember there was a discussion about this problem last year but I have
forgotten the answers now. I think it was something about leaving
some windows open when you save your patch.

Subject: Announcing a new Max Digest Archive

Hello to all,

I will be keeping a web site devoted to back issues of the Max ListServe
Digest. I have put it up rather fast so some parts of it are not
working yet. The add link CGI and the search are not yet working, but
will be soon. I intend to make the archive fully searchable. I have a
lot of finishing touches to put on the site, so look for improvements in
the coming weeks. Currently you can access all of the digest documents
which date back through 4/96 and a couple before that. I would like to
get digests that I don't have, so if your library is more extensive than
mine, please email me the digests that I don't have and I'll post them.
I hope that this is a help to the max community.
