Oh, I see. In that case I guess Opcode can stop sending IRCAM their
royalty checks!

Can any of you out there in MAX, movies and the 5300cs land help me? I have
been unsuccessful at eliminating everything (scrollbar, title, menubar,
and playing full screen movies. Everything seems to work fine until just
seconds after I go fullscreen, then MAX crashes and I get type 1 error
messages. I've spent way too much time investigating this! I've pared down
all my extensions because I need OMS and it seems to be faster this way, but
could I be missing something vital? However, I am running this on the
notorious 5300.

Any thoughts? Please?

Does anyone have experience with Max, addressing PCI serial port expansion
cards? There are several manufacturers, has anyone written an enhanced
serial object that works with any of them?

I have a large stack of RS232/422/485 serial devices to control, nothing is
terribly time-sensitive nor does it involve much in the way of concurrent
data streams. Send a string here, send a string there and wait for an
acknowledge, then send one last string over here, that sort of thing. So,
an external port multiplexer might work also.

Any anecdotes on such topics, will be much appreciated. I seem to ask
versions of this question every two years (once a deciscore, not

Hi! Does anyone know where I can find OMS ver 1.2.3?
I know that it used to be at the download sight of Opcode's home page,
but, it's not there any more.
I need it badly; and if you know, please e-mail me at
Thanks in advance.
