This sounds to me like a bug in 3.5.1 that *wasn't* in 3.5. There
is a problem with loading external objects in a collective
that take certain types of arguments to their creation methods. If
there's any way of going back to 3.5, you might try that, otherwise
you'll have to wait until I get the next updater released. I'm
hoping that will be before the end of the month.

See, everyone says nice things about me and then I reveal how
badly I screw up.

Is there a list of the execution times for each Max object? If so, how can=
 I gain access to it?

S.O.S., S.O.S., S.O.S.

Last week I had a hard disk failure. I proceeded to copy all my data to an
optical disk and then reformatted the hard disk. After fixing the problem I
copied everything back to it but I found that I could not open Max anymore.
A message saying "unauthorized copy" appeared. My original diskette had
zero installations available. What can I do?

Does anyone know who to contact at Opcode to solve this? I have the Max 2.5
original disks and the manual. I would also like to upgrade to the latest
version.

I live near Mexico City so I would appreciate an 800 number or an e-mail
address.

Thanks

Alfredo
