I had the same problem with Max 3.0 on an old IIx and posted it to the
list, but nobody could help. Finally, the Max french hot line suggested me
to install OMS. This solved the problem. The installation manual says that
OMS is not necessary, but it seems that without OMS some objects are not
working.
Hope this could help.

I'm not sure if you meant patches or the list archives for this list but...

You can find the Max List Archive at the following ftp site:
serial.music.uiowa.edu in the /pub/max folder. The file is called:

MaxListserveArchive.sea

I'm uploading the latest version later today.

Good news for all of you that don't own Filemaker, I've separated out the
data from the Filemaker file. So you can import the tab-deliminated text
file into any database you want, or you can use the premade Filemaker 3.0
template.

I've decided to separate out the data because the file compresses much
better; it's only about 768K now. For those of you following the archive
saga I've decided to wait one more quarter before just posting quartly
updates, my apologies. This is primarily due to the fact that I've
separated out the data and the Filemaker template.

is there anyway to automate seting up program linking with aesend.

I need to be able to turn on the computer, have MAX launch, and program
link through
with several other computers running MAX over a network without ever
touching the computer.

Is this possible?
