Subject: In search of Charles Baker / matrix confusions

Does anybody here on this list knows the current email address of Charles
Baker, the author of the serial (=dodecaphonic) matrix object for MAX? I
would like to include a FAT version of his object into my RTC-lib and need
to get in contact with him. Richard Dudas friendly offered his help to
FATten this object ;-)

BTW, in order to avoid confusions, there are 2 different "matrix" objects
existing:

1) from Panaiotis: a data flow re-router

2) from Charles Baker - this is what I am using in the RTC-lib; as opposed
to Panaiotis' object it creates a complete matrix of a 12-tone row.

Again, the question for naming MAX objects (as it was discussed several
months ago) is still unsolved...

Cheers,

Subject: Max 3.5 and mtr problem

When I attempt to record what is in mtr it blows Max entirely. Even the
simplest patch with only one message stored in mtr does this. For example:

max v2;
#N vpatcher 50 40 450 340;
#P message 72 57 38 196617 record;
#P message 121 57 26 196617 test;
#P message 157 57 33 196617 write;
#P newex 118 108 27 196617 mtr;
#P connect 2 0 0 1;
#P connect 1 0 0 0;
#P connect 3 0 0 0;
#P pop;

Is there a work-around? Perhaps I missed it here. If so, apologies.

Thanks, Fred

I realize my first note on this was ambiguous. It is when writing that Max
actually blows. After the dialogue is complete.

Subject: Hiding title bars in non-patcher windows

I am trying to find a way to hide the title bar in non-patcher MAX 'wind'
windows created by an external object. I presume that there must be a way
to do this related to the thispatcher 'window notitle' message.
