To any Max users within the British isles !

Anyone got hold of 3.5 yet.
I placed an order with the official Opcode distributors last year and wait
still while they themselves claim they haven't got their shipment yet.

Subject: Setting Mail to Non-Digest Mode?

Hello all,

Sorry to bother you with this, but I recently had to resubscribe with a new
address, and now my receive options are set to DIGEST (which is not what I
want). I have gotten the INFO REFCARD from the listserv, but have not been
able to figure out how to set the mail receive option back to regular. It
tells you how to turn Digest ON, but does not tell you how to turn it off.

If anyone knows the correct syntax for this, please let me (us) know.

Incidentally, one of the interesting pieces of info I came across while
mailing the listserv was that the MAX list has approximately 1000 people
subscribed to it. Considering how few actually ever post anything, that's
a hell of a lot of lurkers... :-) I seem to remember a few years ago when
I first subscribed that the number was something like 250.

Thanks,
Stephen Kay

Not a very helpful INFO REFCARD I agree. Our former list-owner was of no
help either - _many_ unanswered e-mails... Finally i tried the following
and all was well:

set max ind

(no subject, no .sig)

Hope this works.... if not, mail me and I'll dig-up my sent-mail files.

I'd like to be able to direct a MIDI out signal from Band in the box or
other sequencer soft ware to quick time music instruments and feel that
Max should be able to do this. Does anyone have any interest in helping
me. I have very limited experience with Max 3.1
